ORLANDO TOURS FLORIDA - FL ORLANDO TOUR

Orlando Florida ToursTours in Orlando - to make your visit to Orlando special, you want to see some of the famous sites and attractions, and an organised Tour is an excellent idea. Although most people who visit Orlando choose to decide what they are going to do each day of their holiday in advance, which is a good idea. But some of the days wouldn’t you prefer to be “taken” with transport, admission, tickets, etc all organised for you plus a knowledgeable tour guide. Or you can make your own way to the site and enjoy the tour when you get there.

Kennedy Space Center Tour
Kennedy Space Centre is just outside of Orlando (about 45 minutes away) and a must for those interested in space travel. This is a full day activity as there is so much to see. You can have Standard or Maximum Admission Tickets with the Maximum Ticket – admission to all parts costing about $40 for adults and $30 for children. Then there are some options. There are two types of tours, The Up Close tour, and the Then and now tour. The Up-close tour offers the closest possible viewing of the launch pad, and you get to visit the International Space Station Center (which controls all communication with the ISS). On the “Then and Now” tour you get to relive the experience of America’s first satellite launch, and you also get to see today’s active rocket program. You can also have “Lunch with an Astronaut” for about $20 or why not do Space Flight Simulator Training for the day, with a meal for about $250. For all the tours etc it is as well to make your reservations in advance.

Gatorland
You guessed it; this is a park full of alligators. It is a wildlife preserve of over 100 acres and is close to other Orlando theme parks. Entrance is about 22 dollars for adults and 12 dollars for children under 12. You can be a trainer for a day, if you want to get up close to the alligators for about 100 dollars. This park has a nice cute train ride to ferry you around and there are also Night Shine tours. Go to the website and print off a discount ticket for your admission – gatorland.com.

The Sea Screamer
This is a trip on a huge speedboat. Whizz around the Gulf of Mexico, a really exciting trip lasting an hour. This is also an opportunity to see Clearwater Beach. It is a two-hour trip from Downtown Orlando on an air-conditioned coach. Lunch is provided at a hotel and the cost is around 75 dollars.

Boat Trip and a Swim with the Manatees
This tour is a boat ride on the Crystal River. During the trip you can go into the water and swim with the Manatees. The snorkelling equipment for your swim is supplied as part of the tour.

Fishing – Deep Sea
The Gulf of Mexico is famous for its deep-sea fishing and a day trip will take you away from theme parks and rides. Equipment can be provided.
