Tours
in Orlando - to make your visit to Orlando
special, you want to see some of the famous sites
and attractions, and an organised Tour is an excellent
idea. Although most people who visit Orlando choose
to decide what they are going to do each day of their
holiday in advance, which is a good idea. But some
of the days wouldn’t you prefer to be “taken”
with transport, admission, tickets, etc all organised
for you plus a knowledgeable tour guide. Or you can
make your own way to the site and enjoy the tour when
you get there.
Kennedy Space Center Tour
Kennedy Space Centre is just outside of Orlando (about
45 minutes away) and a must for those interested in
space travel. This is a full day activity as there
is so much to see. You can have Standard or Maximum
Admission Tickets with the Maximum Ticket –
admission to all parts costing about $40 for adults
and $30 for children. Then there are some options.
There are two types of tours, The Up Close tour, and
the Then and now tour. The Up-close tour offers the
closest possible viewing of the launch pad, and you
get to visit the International Space Station Center
(which controls all communication with the ISS). On
the “Then and Now” tour you get to relive
the experience of America’s first satellite
launch, and you also get to see today’s active
rocket program. You can also have “Lunch with
an Astronaut” for about $20 or why not do Space
Flight Simulator Training for the day, with a meal
for about $250. For all the tours etc it is as well
to make your reservations in advance.

to get up close to the alligators for about 100 dollars.
This park has a nice cute train ride to ferry you
around and there are also Night Shine tours. Go to

on an air-conditioned coach. Lunch is provided at
a hotel and the cost is around 75 dollars.
Boat Trip and a Swim with the Manatees

the trip you can go into the water and swim with the
Manatees. The snorkelling equipment for your swim
is supplied as part of the tour.
